Youth Outreach

Roll Call Youth Outreach

At Roll Call, we believe honoring veterans also means inspiring the next generation. Our outreach to youth builds bridges between students and veterans, fostering respect, understanding, and shared purpose.

School Presentations

Veterans from Roll Call visit schools to share their experiences and lessons learned in service. These presentations help students see history come alive and connect classroom learning to real-world sacrifice and service.

ROTC & JROTC Partnerships

We regularly invite ROTC and JROTC cadets to present the colors at our monthly luncheons, giving young men and women the opportunity to take part in traditions of honor and patriotism. Partnering with these programs strengthens ties between veterans and cadets and reinforces values of discipline, leadership, and service.

Student Volunteers

High school and college students often serve as volunteers at Roll Call luncheons and events. These opportunities allow young people to work alongside veterans, gaining hands-on experience in service, hospitality, and leadership while building meaningful connections.

Scholarships & Essay Contests

Looking ahead, Roll Call is exploring scholarship programs, essay contests, and other initiatives that encourage students to reflect on patriotism, leadership, and the importance of honoring those who have served.

A Legacy of Service

Through these efforts, Roll Call not only honors veterans but also plants seeds of respect, gratitude, and service in the next generation—ensuring that the stories of sacrifice and courage live on.
