The monthly luncheons provide a special venue for fellowship, honor, and camaraderie for veterans and service members of all ages.

Schedule

  • Usually held on the fourth Friday of each month but modified for Holiday months and summer. Watch the announcement at the top of this page. 
  • Time: 9:45 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Location: Birchman Baptist Church, 9100 N Normandale St, Fort Worth, TX 76116
  • RSVP required. Reservations run out quickly. Check above and on homepage for day and time that RSVP opens. 

Cost

  • Veterans & military personnel: Free
  • Civilians: Suggested donation of $20 (covers meal cost)

Program

Each luncheon includes a program with a different theme each month. Types of programs include topics like the following: 

  • Honoring veterans of specific eras (e.g., Korean War, Vietnam)
  • Recognizing significant military events or anniversaries (e.g., end of WWII, notable battles)
  • Featuring stories of heroism, courage, and sacrifice from our attendees
  • Guest speakers such as senators, members of Congress, or other special guests
  • Occasional entertainment (e.g., singing performances)

Traditions at Every Luncheon

  • Singing the National Anthem
  • Pledge of Allegiance
  • Prayer
  • Announcements and community updates about veteran-related events

Experience

Roll Call is a wonderful opportunity for veterans to connect with other men and women who share similar experiences. Each luncheon brings together service members from across generations, creating space for fellowship, stories, and encouragement that only come from being among those who have served.
