Our May Roll Call luncheon was another hugely successful event. We were back at our normal location, Birchman Baptist Church, and were able to provide a small token of our appreciation to the pastor, Dr. Bob Pearl, for all the
support he has provided over the years. We served well over 300 meals yet again to our local Roll Call veterans and members. Our guest speaker was US Marine Corps veteran and Iwo Jima survivor Don Graves who, as always, was very
entertaining! We were also able to obtain a fragment of the USS Arizona to put on display in our mobile museum, and we brought WWII veteran Harmon Moody, who lost his brother on the Arizona, up on stage to help unveil the
piece of history.
