Dana Link, Treasurer

Dana is from Hannibal, Mo. and moved to the DFW area in 1980. He began his 34-year career with Texas Industries (TXI) in an entry-level position and ultimately held several General Management positions. He retired when TXI was acquired by Martin Marietta in 2014. He returned to work for US Concrete in Sales Management from 2016 to 2017, and now works for himself running a consulting business. His hobbies include: snow skiing, amateur photography, traveling, hiking and family.

Dana has an Associates of Science Degree from North Lake College in Irving. Dana has five children and six grandchildren – all living in the DFW Metro area. Although he is not a Veteran, Dana comes from a military family. His father and three uncles served in WWII in four branches of the military – Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. Additionally, Dana’s two sons also chose military service. SGT Steven Link was a member of the Army National Guard and was stationed at Camp Mabry; 36 ID Signal Company. His MOS is 25S Satellite Communications Operator and was a member of Division Server Team. He volunteered for Deployment to Korea from May to December 2016. Staff Sergeant Sam Moore served in the Army National Guard as 15P Aviation Operations NCOIC and 15Q Air traffic controller. Sam’s deployments include Kuwait in 2013, and most recently served in Iraq and Syria in 2017.

Dana researched Roll Call and attended the May 2017 luncheon – it just seemed like a perfect fit! After meeting one-on-one with Kelli Martin and learning more about Roll Call, the rest was history.
