Roll Call Luncheon – November 2022
November was another wonderful time of fellowship and camaraderie at the Roll Call Luncheon. We gathered our Veterans again at Birchman Baptist Church in Fort Worth for a meal and time spent with friends. Over 30 youth from the Granbury ISD volunteered by serving meals and taking care of our veterans throughout the afternoon. Unfortunately our planned speaker, WWII Veteran Jack Stowe was unable to attend, but this everyone a chance to learn a little more about a few of our board members. Mary Staffeld, Mark Donahew and Roy Davis shared a little about their military careers and experiences. The group was also treated to a moving rendition of Proud to be an American by Brad Thompson. Our veterans also donated well over a carload of food and supplies for the food pantry on NAS JRB Fort Worth. Another great luncheon of veterans supporting veterans!
