Our June Roll Call Luncheon was another huge success at Birchman Baptist Church. We had almost 375 Roll Call members in attendance! It was a full house. Former Prisoner of War Ken Cordier was our very special guest speaker
this month and shared many of his experiences from his time in service, including some of the milder stories from his 2,284 days in captivity in North Vietnam. Tim Klund presented a patriotic painting to Don Graves in appreciation
of him singing the national anthem at numerous Celebrity Softball Games over the last few years and Bob Sparenberg donated several items to Roll Call for our mobile museum. We celebrated several birthdays for some of
our oldest veterans. WWII veterans Harmon Moody (95 on June 26th) and Bill McIntyre (102 on July 12th) and WWII and Korea veterans Bill Hubbard (95 on July 5th) and Cliff Stump (98 on June 13th). Faith Phillips led us
all in singing happy birthday to these honorable veterans.
