Our Team

Roll Call has a great team of committed volunteers, both civilian and military. Our volunteers have a tremendous passion for veterans, the military and are proud to be Americans. We have volunteers from the nearby Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base (formerly Carswell Airforce Base). Here is our team:

Almost Heaven Catering is owned and operated by Brenda Miller Leonhart. Almost Heaven has been serving the metroplex with unique twist on traditional Texas favorites for 20 years. A native of small town Texas, Brenda moved to Fort Worth in her youth. Food, especially Sunday lunch, was always the center of family life in the Miller family. Shirrel Schramm

Shirrel Schramm was raised in West Texas and met her husband Keith at the University of Texas at Arlington. They were married at the Botanical Garden’s in Fort Worth in 1994. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1996. She worked for a while but then decided to stay home and homeschool their 5 amazing children.

Rick is a native of Fort Worth. His father was a United States Marine who served in the South Pacific during WWII. Rick and his wife Susan met as teenagers at Birchman Baptist Church, where Roll Call luncheons are currently held. Joe Schneider

Joe was born and raised in Western New York and attended Southwestern Central High School. Afterwards, Joe studied at Syracuse University and served in the United States Air Force from 1962-1970. Upon receiving a Honorable Discharge with the rank of E6, Joe was employed with RCA Computer Systems as an Area Manager for the Central region, based in Chicago, IL.

Mr. Swartz grew up in Arlington, TX. He played tennis for Arlington High School, then attended the University of Texas at Arlington from 1959-1963 when it was Arlington State College.
