Shirrel Schramm was raised in West Texas and met her husband Keith at the University of Texas at Arlington. They were married at the Botanical Garden’s in Fort Worth in 1994. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1996. She worked for a while but then decided to stay home and homeschool their 5 amazing children.
Her husband’s career took them all over the United States. They were able to help plant a church in Eugene, Oregon. They moved back to the metroplex in 2013 when Shirrel’s mother began showing signs of Alzheimer’s. Shirrel coordinated her mother’s care and was able to help her stay independent as long as possible.
In 2014, Shirrel began selling real estate part time and used it to teach her teens business skills. Her enthusiasm for real estate grew and she launched Famm Realty LLC, a family company that gives back to the community. Famm Realty allows clients to choose from a menu of 501c3 non- profit programs where 10% of the company’s total commission is donated to the non-profit. Roll Call is on that list.
Her family has been involved with Civil Air Patrol since 2012 when her son joined as a 12-year- old cadet. Her husband and 4 of their 5 children are active members. She joined as a senior member in 2015 and now serves as the Health Services Officer and the Deputy Commander of Cadets for the Fort Worth Phoenix TX-388 Composite Squadron.
She began serving with Roll Call by bringing cadets to serve at the Luncheons every month. She is honored to serve the men and women who put their lives on the line to preserve our freedom.
