WILLIAM D. (Dave) WARWICK
Dave Warwick was born and raised in Tullahoma, Tennessee, graduating from high school there in June 1992. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1994 and was initially trained as a Security Specialist where he served at Grand Forks AFB, ND, Osan AB Republic of Korea and Incirlik AB, Turkey. In 1998 he moved to Mountain Home AFB, ID and retrained as a Military Working Dog Handler. In 2000 he headed to Spangdahlem AB, Germany for three years, from which he deployed to Eskan Village, Saudia Arabia, and finally finished his active duty career at Fairchild AFB, WA.
In 2004 Dave transitioned to the Air Force Reserve as a traditional reservist. where he retrained into Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and was stationed at McChord AFB, WA. From there he performed two combat deployments (Afghanistan 2007 and Iraq 2009) actively countering the Improvised Explosive Device threat. In 2010, Dave was hired into an Active Guard/Reserve (AGR) position at NAS Fort Worth JRB where he began the process of standing up a brand-- new EOD flight in 2010. In 2016 he deployed one more time to an undisclosed location in the middle east and upon returning moved to Peterson AFB, CO. He took the position as lead AGR for the EOD flight there and finally retired from the Air Force in September 2018
Dave moved back to Fort Worth, TX where he is currently enjoying some down time after the military while he decides what path to follow next.
