Our April 2022 Roll Call luncheon was a special one. The Skipper of NAS Fort Worth JRB, CAPT Mark McLean, hosted us on the base and we had well over 500 Roll Call members in attendance in addition to another 100 military members. It
was a great event! We helped the Navy celebrate the 80th birthday of the base, and they made the largest cake ever made on the base just for us. We hear from WWII veteran Vernon Mitchell who spoke of his experiences fighting
in Europe. We even had local community leaders Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn and former State House Representative Matt Krause join us. The Navy brought out an F-18 and the Air Force brought an F-16 to share with us.
It was an amazing gathering of veterans and currently serving military members!
