Investing in tomorrow while honoring the past

Inspiring the next generation.

When young people stand in honor of those who served, they carry forward a legacy of gratitude, patriotism, and service.

At Roll Call, we believe in teaching respect for veterans not just through words, but through action — one generation honoring the next.

What are veterans & volunteers saying?

This represents the heart of everything we do. Their words reflect the impact of a warm meal, a kind conversation, and a community that remembers and honors our Military Heroes. Here, you'll find personal stories and reflections from those who’ve attended The Lunch and experienced the connection, respect, and gratitude that define Roll Call.

Roll Call is a great salute to the military and veterans communities. As well, the program honors the families that support those men and women that put on that uniform. Patriotism, in a greater sense, his present from start to finish when they all come together.

Don’t ask me how I feel about Roll Call unless you have a few hours for my answer! Roll Call luncheon is my favorite day of the month, and I count it an honor and privilege to provide lunch for all these precious heroes!  I’m the one who benefits the most, because everyone wants to hug the cook!

We are so grateful for our volunteers.

From serving lunch to offering a kind word, our volunteers help create a space of respect and remembrance.

How can I help?

We have volunteer opportunities to serve at The Lunch, assist our Board of Directors, write letters, make visits, and more. Whether you have an hour to spare or a specific skill to share, there’s a place for you to make a difference.
