Our December 2022 Roll Call Luncheon was another huge success! Well over 400 meals were served to veterans and guests for our final luncheon of the year at Birchman Baptist Church. We started our Christmas Luncheon as we do all others, with the presentation of the Colors, the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.  After lunch the group was entertained by comedian Chris Crawford, who is also a veteran. Chris spent over twenty years in the United States Air Force before retiring and joining the Veterans of Comedy group. In addition to performing stand-up, he still serves his country by teaching military students as a technical school instructor at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo Texas.

We were entertained again by musician Brad Thompson who sang a few Christmas songs before closing out the afternoon with Proud To Be An American.

Our Veteran’s Generosity

Our veterans also showed how generous they are once again and donated more than a pickup truck full of food and supplies to the Naval Fleet and Family Support Center food bank on NAS JRB Fort Worth. Larry Allen, from Wreaths Across America, also presented a $2,500 check to the Fort Worth Air Power Council for the same food bank.
